The 5 days trip is an incredible safari that earns you a chance to explore Murchison falls national park in Western Uganda. Being the biggest national park, it is divided by Victoria Nile into 2 sectors that is the Northern and Southern where you will be able to do chimpanzee trekking from in Budongo Forest. The park is a haven to a variety of wildlife like giraffes, hyenas, crocodiles and also the big five. Besides, the park harbors different bird species like the rare shoebill which you will enjoy through game drives n and boat cruise.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kampala with a city tour.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative. Transfer to Kampala city as you explore her beauty. Check in at the reserved lodge and rest. Depending on time, have a short city tour to explore Kampala’s beauty as you drive to her major attraction like Namugongo shrine, Gadaffi Mosque, Parliament among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls national park and visit the top of the falls.
Wake up early enough for breakfast and be ready to transfer to the mighty waterfall of Murchison falls national park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to participate in rhino tracking. Proceed to Masindi town and make another stop over lunch and later continue to the park. On arrival, drive to the top of the falls where you will be fascinated by the mighty roar of the falls, breathtaking sceneries and also watch animals. From there, drive to the booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Travel time: 5-6 hours.
Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Kick off the day with an early morning bite and meet the driver for a game drive in the park. The drive will take you through the park’s savannah plains with amazing views of wild game like elephants, Uganda Kob, buffaloes, different birds and predators like lions and leopards as they return to their hideouts. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon embark on a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. The cruise will enable you to see water birds like kingfishers and animals like crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Budongo Forest for chimpanzee trekking.
Have morning breakfast, meet the driver with packed lunch from the lodge for a drive to the ferry crossing point taking you to Budongo Forest in the South of the park. On arrival, you will be briefed about the cautions of chimpanzee trekking and given a guide. Proceed to the forest and begin the search for the gentle giants which will take you about 4 hours depending on their movement and your ability to trek. Expect to see other primates like red-tailed monkeys, birds like black kite and also different tree species as you will be informed by the guide. Upon the sight of the chimps, you spend 1 hour with them to study their habits in their natural habitats as you take pictures and videos. Later trek back to the starting point and transfer back to the lodge, dine and sleep.
Day 5: Departure.
Have a morning breakfast at a relaxed pace, check out of the lodge and meet the driver for set off back to Kampala with en route lunch. Later, you will be either transferred to a hotel of your choice or to Entebbe International airport for your departure flight back home. End of the safari.
