- Day 1: 30th March 2024; Transfer to Murchison falls via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
- Day 2: 31st March 2024; Morning game drive, afternoon Boat cruise and evening Top of the falls hike
- Day 3: 1st April 2024; Cultural tour at historical Polish church and departure back to Kampala
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: 30th March 2024; Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
Wake up early and converge at the meeting point where you meet with our guide who will introduce himself to you, you get to greet each other and exchange a few morning words to vibe up your day.
He will brief you about you 3 days safari to the mighty Murchison falls, the dos and don’ts pf the safari and then you will say a prayer for a blessed journey to and fro, set off and start your journey.
You will have a few stop overs for snacks, drinks etc. but at your own cost then proceed to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for white Rhino trekking, upon arrival at the sanctuary you will meet the rangers who will greet you and welcome you to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, tell you what you are supposed to do while tracking the rhinos the you will start of with your tracking as they explain to you more about the rhinos that maybe you didn’t know, you will have ample time there as you wait for your ordered lunch at the rhino sanctuary. You will have lunch while even having a view of the Rhinos moving or resting at their leisure too. It is fun.
You will be able to take enough photos and videos for memories back home. After lunch you will proceed to Masindi town for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: 31st March 2024; Morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise and evening top of the falls hike
On day 2 you will have to wake up a bit early since a lot awaits in the day. You will start your journey early so that you are able to be at the park gate by 7am so that you can be able to go for the morning game drive.
After the game drive, you will go for early lunch at Red chili which is the park, after lunch you will be to go an afternoon boat cruise at 2 o’clock.
After the boat cruise you will go straight to hike the top of the falls, hear the powerful sound of the Nile roar, seeing a strong water fall penetrate through a narrow gorge fighting to find its way through, you will always be able to see water form rainbows yet there is no rain because in Uganda we have a belief the rainbow (musoke as it called in one of the local languages) comes to stop the rain or a storm hahah.
Take enough photos, videos and thereafter you can return to your lodge for diner and overnight stay or you can go for night life in Masindi town at leisure. (But the night life is at your own cost)
Day 3: 1st April 2024; Cultural tour at historical polish church and departure back to Kampala
Wake up early, have your breakfast and drive to the historical polish church which is said to be having the remains of the Aunt to the Pope. Upon arrival there you will be briefed by the guide there and later he will educate you about the history there.
After that you will head back for lunch in Masindi town and then departure after lunch.
