Murchison falls is located in the North-western Uganda and it’s one of the oldest and largest national parks in Uganda. 3 days Murchison Falls safari takes you to great Murchison falls that falls from 45m wall through the 8m wide gorge. The view of the fall is very scenic and you will listen to the thunderous roar of the water falls flowing to the Victoria Nile. Expect to encounter plenty of wildlife species such as Elephants, leopards, lions, warthogs, Antelopes, Nile crocodiles, kobs, buffaloes and different bird species like kingfishers, Goliath Heron, rare shoebill among others.

Day 1: Drive to Murchison falls and visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Take morning breakfast and at 7:00am, our company guide/driver shall pick you from the hotel, he will introduce himself to you and brief you about the 3 days’ safari. The journey takes 5-6 hours’ drive with a branch off at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have a chance to track the white Rhinos who are among the big five mammals. Drive to Masindi town where you will eat lunch and after lunch proceed to Murchison falls national park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Game drive, boat cruise and hike the top of the falls
Wake up very early in the morning take morning breakfast and proceed for a 7.00am game drive through the savannah plains as you get to encounter different wildlife species such as warthogs, lions, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, Uganda kobs among others. This will take you up to 11:30am then head back to the lodge to enjoy some refreshments and have lunch as you prepare for the impressive afternoon boat cruise on the waters.
The awesome boat cruise will offer you the opportunity to see animals such as Nile crocodiles, hippos, and monitor lizards, elephants that quench their thirst as they take water and enjoy the coolness from the waters. This boat cruise will eventually lead you to the base of Murchison falls from there you take a hike to the top of the falls and enjoy viewing beautiful sceneries such as green savannah vegetation packed with the animals feeding on the grass, it’s from here that your driver will find you and drive you back to hotel.
Day 3: Departure
A new day is on and it’s the last day of the safaris, take your morning breakfast and go for yet another game drive, final one, that will still give you chance to see more animals. Then at around 11:30am you check out of the Hotel and transfer back to Kampala in the afternoon.
