Uganda is free of Ebola

The Uganda Tourism Board would like to make it clear that, in contrast to certain media allegations, Uganda is free of the Ebola virus and that no cases have been detected within its borders.While the nation is on high alert, UTB would like to let everyone know that there hasn’t been a single case of Ebola reported in Uganda, including visitors, travelers, travel agencies, the general population, and the international community.

The impacted regions are remote from Uganda; thus, as a precaution, the government of Uganda has established screening centers at all national borders for visitors from affected areas and any suspected cases.

As a result, we want to reassure everyone traveling to Uganda that the country is Ebola-free. We will ensure that all of our guests and passengers are aware of the state of affairs within the nation.
