Stunning Uganda Tourism Night

A fun event called “Tourism Night” provided Uganda tourism a chance to promote and highlight what Uganda has to offer. With their warm smiles, Ugandans are the most gregarious people on the African continent. The goal of this tourism night was to unite Ugandans and friends of Uganda after their hectic daily and weekly schedules, allowing them to decompress and prove to the locals and foreign visitors that Uganda is the destination to be.

On Thursday, April 10, 2014, commencing at 6:00 p.m., the Speke Ballroom at the Speke Resort Munyonyo hosted this tourism night.

The event’s mission is to showcase Uganda’s nightlife and culture by uniting travelers, corporate leaders, and tourism stakeholders in a supportive environment that fosters social interaction for the advancement of sustainable tourism.

The Uganda Tourism Night is an excellent project that exemplifies networking, which is the foundation of the travel and tourism industry. Travel agents, tour operators, hotel owners, and wildlife authorities are among the many people in Ugandan tourism who all agree that networking is essential to growing a business.

Title Unknown12The night’s theme, “Cultural development, a strong foundation to sustainable tourism growth,” aims to raise awareness of Uganda’s commercial, tourism, and cultural potential while also promoting the country’s nightlife and culture. This thrilling evening will serve as a platform for promoting our manufactured, cultural, and natural tourism offerings domestically, extending visitor stays and providing them with an engaging experience that highlights our identity.

Uganda is blessed with a friendly populace as well as an abundance of natural and cultural resources, which, when properly utilized, can serve as the foundation for a prosperous travel sector and a rise in visitor numbers. Uganda is one of the greatest travel destinations in the world because of its stunning landscapes, charming people, and diverse wildlife. This beauty is not yet fully utilized.

The event’s organizers hope to:

  • Increase awareness of the significance of Uganda’s tourist industry
  • Encourage the consumption of the travel items that are offered in Uganda’s tourism business.
  • Encourage the networking of local and international tourism industry stakeholders and promoters.
  • Encourage fresh ideas and inventiveness in the tourism industry, especially in the areas of company development and entertainment.
  • Encourage a collaborative culture inside the workplace.
  • Ten percent of the event’s revenues will be used to fund Kasubi Tombs’ renovation.

Together with the Speke Resort Munyonyo administration, members of the Uganda Tourism Fraternity organized the event. Sponsors included 103.4 Juice FM, The Redpepper, Ruparelia Foundation, and Speke Resort Munyonyo.

Everything about this event, from the concept to the table settings, highlighted Ugandan tourism. There were tables dedicated to gorillas, chimpanzees, crested cranes, and other animals. Therefore, individuals who were involved in, say, Gorilla Safari, can purchase a place at the gorilla table; similarly, chimpanzees, crested cranes, Uganda Kobs, etc., can all be purchased. Naturally, the cost of the seats had an impact on the seat that you could afford.
