Sheraton Hotel in Kampala
Renovated in 2015, the 1965-built Kampala Sheraton is 45 minutes from Entebbe airport and is regarded as the greatest place to stay in Kampala.
The hotel, which has 236 recently remodeled rooms and is located in the heart of the city, has views of both the Kolol and Nakasero hills. Visitors who are acquainted with the Starwood Hotel’s Sheraton brand will recognize the distinctive low-rise building, the architectural gardens, and the grand welcome area right away.
The Kampala Sheraton offers spacious hotel accommodations with a variety of dining options, lounges, bars, shops, conference spaces, internet access, and office spaces. It also features a ballroom with 450 seats, a spa, a gym, and a Kyoga swimming pool.
Services and Food
First-rate dining options that are stylish, considerate, and strive to satisfy a range of tastes: The hotel’s newest eatery, Seven Seas, will satisfy your needs for steak, spaghetti, and seafood. A sophisticated delicatessen called Temptations serves cocktails and bar bites; Park Square Cafe serves excellent lattes; Paradise Grill specializes in tandoori; and Victoria Breakfast Room serves Americano sandwiches.
It’s a terrific location to unwind, especially after swimming in the circular Kyoga pool at the Pool Bar. Equator Bar, with an English pub motif, serves inventive cocktails and hosts an all-night disco for after-hours fun.
The Activities.
There are tons of activities. A condensed list of activities includes shopping, sightseeing trips, tennis, golf, squash, spa treatments, massages, and a range of keep-fit classes.
The Rooms
The six classes of rooms at the Sheraton Kampala are: Executive, Club, Diplomatic Suite, Deluxe Diplomatic Suite, Junior Suite, and Presidential Suite. A king bed, a private balcony, a writing desk, side tables, and a separate bathroom are all features of the regular Executive Room. The suites are increasingly opulent and feature a separate lounge; the Club Room is comparable but larger.
The Kampala Sheraton, which recently started a renovation project, has all the amenities guests might want—safety, TV, internet access, butler service, etc.—and its rooms are immaculate and well-kept. Additionally, please be aware that certain hotel sections are reserved exclusively and that certain services are not included in the initial price. Lastly, it’s important to note that the hotel’s side facing the city is significantly louder than its side facing the hills.
