7-Day Murchison Falls-Kibale & Queen Elizabeth Safari will take you to three [3] major national parks in Uganda where you will encounter different kind of wildlife, fauna and floras. You will visit Murchison falls national park one of the largest national parks in Uganda and the Murchison falls waters are referred to as ‘’The World’s Most Powerful Water Falls’’.
You will then visit ‘’The Primate Capital of the World’’ Kibale forest national park, the park has the higher concentration of primates’ species in Africa and you enjoy the birding and nature walk experience.
Lastly you will visit Queen Elizabeth national park ‘’A Medley of Wonders’’. Queen Elizabeth national park is a most famous tourist’s destination for the country and it’s well-known for its tree climbing lions.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
A 7-Day Murchison Falls-Kibale & Queen Elizabeth Safari with Chosen Expeditions begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. After a short briefing, you will drive north toward Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area.
The 7-Day Murchison Falls-Kibale & Queen Elizabeth Safari takes you through rural towns and scenic countryside. You may stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for optional rhino tracking before continuing to the park. Upon arrival, you will visit the top of Murchison Falls where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically. The sight and sound of the falls are powerful and unforgettable. Later, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive & Launch Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive on the northern bank of the park. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, giraffes, buffalo, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, and lions. The open savannah landscape makes wildlife viewing rewarding and scenic.
In the afternoon, take a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile toward the base of the falls. Along the riverbanks, you may see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of bird species. The cruise ends near the base of the falls, offering stunning views of the cascading water. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and drive southwest to Kibale National Park. The journey is scenic and passes through tea plantations, crater lakes, and rolling hills around Fort Portal.
Arrive at your lodge near Kibale Forest in the afternoon and relax as you prepare for chimpanzee tracking the following day.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
After breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale is known as the primate capital of the world and hosts several primate species. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one hour observing them as they feed, groom, and communicate in the forest canopy.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community-run reserve is rich in birdlife and monkeys, including red colobus and black-and-white colobus. The walk also offers insight into local conservation efforts and community initiatives.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 6: Game Drive & Boat Ride on the Kazinga Channel
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, hyenas, and lions. Your guide will share insights about the park’s ecosystems and animal behavior.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The boat safari offers close views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species along the shoreline. This experience is one of the highlights of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
