3 Days Trip To Lake Bunyonyi Safari

3-day Lake Bunyonyi safari

Overview

Lake Bunyonyi is located in southwestern Uganda, in the district of Kabale and Kisoro. Lake Bunyonyi means “place of many little birds,” and the lake is believed to be the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest in Africa at about 3000 feet deep, and it has 29 islands surrounding it.

Lake Bunyonyi has fresh waters that are bilharzia- and crocodile-free, and you are free to swim in its waters.

This trip takes you to one of the best and most magnificent naturally beautiful crater lakes in Uganda.

Then for tourists who wish to merge their trips, it is very okay and possible to merge your trip to Lake Bunyonyi with any other parks, such as Lake Mburo National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and even up to Rwanda if you so wish to.
