Day 1: Pick Up from Kigali & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for registration and a comprehensive pre-trek briefing conducted by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. During this session, you will learn about gorilla behavior, conservation efforts, and trekking guidelines to ensure both your safety and that of the gorillas.

Accompanied by experienced trackers and armed rangers, you will venture into the thick rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can last between two to six hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. The terrain may be steep and muddy, adding to the adventure, but every step through the ancient forest reveals unique flora, birds, and other primates.

When you finally encounter the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat.
